The Late-breaking Results, the Poster and Demos, the Doctoral Consortium and the Workshop papers at the 24th ACM conference on User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalisation deal with various exciting topics related to emerging areas of research, with the aim of discussing best practices and innovative approaches in User Modeling and Adaptive Systems.

Late-breaking Results and Posters and Demos works focus on some key issues related to visualisation, personality, elearning, and recommender systems. They descrive innovative research ideas, preliminary results of recently started research projects and system prototypes. Doctoral Consortium papers describe promising work of students in adaptive systems.

Finally, the seven workshops present challenges, open issues and new perspectives related to current and novel trends (e.g., evaluation, data fusion, human factors, surprise) in different fields (e.g., personal informatics, learning, news).
