Abstract
Der Begriff „Paranomia“ hat eine Vielzahl von Bedeutungen: Gesetzeswidrigkeit, das falsche Benennen richtig erkannter Gegenstände oder auch “das was neben der Norm existiert”. In der vorliegenden Publikation untersucht Christoph Keller die Verbindungen von Wissenschaft und zeitgenössischer Kunst und zeichnet überzeugend nach, wie Wissen in den jeweiligen Gebieten abgeleitet wird. Das Buch umfasst eine Reihe von Texten, Interviews, Arbeiten und Projekten zu diesem Thema mit Beiträgen von Bernhard Blistène, Horst Bredekamp, Jimena Canales, Sarah Demeuse, Heike Catherina Mertens, Ana Teixeira Pinto, Manuel Raeder, Detlef Thiel, Joseph Vogl.
Translation of abstract (English)
The Term “Paranomia” has multiple meanings, on of them being that which exists alongside the normative. In this inquiry into the entangled aspects of science and contemporary art, Christoph Keller draws a compelling outline of how knowledge is derived in these respective fields. The present publication assembles a series of texts, interviews, works and projects around this topic with contributions by Bernard Blistène, Horst Bredekamp, Jimena Canales, Sarah Demeuse, Heike Catherina Mertens, Ana Teixeira Pinto, Manuel Raeder, Detlef Thiel, and Joseph Vogl.
