Abstract
Der Straßenbauingenieur August Leopold Crelle erwarb 1815/16 den Doktorgrad in Heidelberg. Er wurde durch sein 1826 gegründetes 'Journal für die Reine und Angewandte Mathematik' bekannt; die Zeitschrift besteht noch heute.
Die Materialsammlung enthält: 1. Lexikonartikel, 2. Biographische Informationen, 3. Bestandsnachweise zum Werk (gedruckt / digital) und 4. Hinweise zu Bibliographien sowie einen von ihm selbst verfassten Lebenslauf.
