A stable lp-plane is a topological linear space whose point space is locally compact and of finite and positive (topological) dimension and the domain of intersection is open in the set of pairs of lines. For stable lp-planes P, P' we study partial lineations. These are homeomorphisms between open subplanes of P and P', respectively, that preserve collinearity. Inspired by the compact-open topology we define a topology T on the set of all partial lineations between P and P'. The topology T is not Hausdorff, but we prove that it is locally compact if the point spaces of P and P' are manifolds. This entails the following: if the point space of a stable lp-plane is a manifold then the semigroup of endomorphisms is locally compact. Furthermore we study a generalization of stable planes: stable triangles. We prove that every continuous and injective lineation of an open subtriangle of a classical projective plane over any one of the division algebras with can be constructed by the Cayley-Dickson process (the real numbers, the complex numbers, the quaternions and the octonions) can be extended to an automorphism of the projective plane. This is a generalization of L"owen's local fundamental theorem. One example we study is the Pickert-Moulton plane. We show that every injective lineation between two Pickert-Moulton planes is continuous. Analysing the structure of the automorphism group of a Pickert-Moulton plane yields the following result: Let Mk(F) be the Pickert-Moulton-Plane over the field F, and let k be the factor of the kinked lines of Mk(F). Then the automorphism group of Mk(F) is a semidirect product of a group whose elements locally act on the Pickert-Moulton plane like elements of the automorphism group of the projective plane over the field F and a group which is isomorphic to the group of those order-preserving field automorphisms of F that fix k.
