In this thesis we present a serie of results concerning dynamics in surfaces given by homeomorphisms. The results are related to the study of minimal sets for the dynamics and the rotation theory on the two dimensional torus.

Im Rahmen dieser Dissertation werden verschiedene Beiträge zur Dynamik auf zweidimensionalen Mannigfaltigkeiten vorgestellt. Im Zentrum stehen dabei insbesondere die Strukur minimaler Mengen und Rotationstheorie für Homöomorphismen des zweidimensionalen Torus.
