In diesem Working Paper stellen wir die Bedeutung des Beschaffungsmanagements heraus und beleuchten speziell die Auswahl der richtigen Lieferanten. Dabei geben wir einen Überblick über den Auswahlprozess, definieren Anforderungen und stellen Instrumente vor.
- Suppliers cover more and more of the value creation of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and as a consequence the share of the cost of material for outsourced items will add up to 95 percent. For this reason the selection of suppliers is a matter of strategic relevance. In this working paper we point out the importance of procurement in general and highlight especially the selection of the right suppliers. In doing this, we overview the selection process, we define requirements and introduce instruments.
