- This dissertation is about the change of the body weight with esophageal cancer, after and before the curative surgical resection. I explain the change of body weight and Body-mass-index before the diagnosis of cancer, and after the resection, and the correlation with the 5-year-survival. As well, I explain the reasons for the loss of body weight, as well as the possibilities to prevent that.
