This article states a critical position on the debate about „Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR). Its main proposition is that attributing CSR should aim at improving the market economy as a system. As a consequence this article distinguishes whether CSR concepts are market-compliant and it argues that CSR concepts that lack conformity with the logic of markets are inferior to the relevant alternative. |
