In this thesis, the anomalous Hall effect, the spin Hall effect, the Edelstein effect, and the spin orbit torque in ferromagnetic/nonmagnetic multilayers with substitutional impurities are considered. The description of the electronic structure of the ferromagnetic/nonmagnetic multilayers is based on density functional theory by means of a fully relativistic tight binding KKR-Green’s function method. The electronic transport is calcluated using the linearized Boltzmann equation. As an example, Co/Cu multilayers with intrinsic impurities (Cu, Co) as well as extrinsic impurities (Ir, Au, Bi) delta-distributed in different atomic layers within the multilayers are considered. Furthermore, Co/Cu multilayers are taken into account with magnetization M perpendicular to the Co/Cu interface on the one hand and with magnetization M parallel to the Co/Cu interface on the other hand.
