Seiteneinrichtung
Written space: 168 mm x 144 mm (main text column 49 mm , inner gloss column 33 mm , outer gloss 52 mm , 5 mm between columns). 15 lines of gospel text, up to 43 lines ruled for gloss. 1 text column, plus gloss column on either side. Lead ruling, double bounding lines frame main text (2 lines between columns), single lines at outer boundaries of gloss columns. prickings for 15 lines of main text only text above top line, or below line if gloss is ruled and written above.

Schrift und Hände

Late 12c littera gothica. One hand for both text and formal gloss.

Buchschmuck

  • Decorated initials, 1-5 lines, ff. 1v, 19v, 22, 35v, 112v, and 116v, in blue, red, green, light green, lavendar, tan, and gold, in red or black outline (foliate interlace, with dog figures 1v, bird heads 1v and 112v, bird 19v, beast head 116v);
  • lesser initials in red, blue, and green;
  • incidental initials and paragraph markers often stroked with red;
  • first word f. 1v in 1-line majuscules (red decorated with green), and intials of the same type on 2r.

Marginal nota signs outside gloss columns. Additional marginalia in 13c cursive hand.
