[3], (original 1st and 2nd quires now lost), i1+8-2 (outer bifolium missing, one also added at front, 9c; this quire was the 4th quire of the original MS, belonging after present quire iii), ii2 (blank bifolium added at time of 18c binding), iii8 (3rd quire of the original MS), iv8 (5th quire of the original MS), v2-1 (single leaf [26] added to supply text omitted between quires; leaf is smaller in size and has single bounding lines, different hand), vi-xii8, xiii8-3 (lacks three at end, no text lost), [1]. Quire signatures III(iii), V(iv), and VI-XI(vi-xi); signature IV lost with original outer bifolium of present quire i; X and XI partly cut off, XII (82v) entirely cut off in trimming.
Seiteneinrichtung
Written space: 200 mm x 115 mm 29 lines. ¶ Long lines. Dry-point ruling, double bounding lines, top and bottom text lines extend across gutter prickings at outer bounding line text above top line.

littera carolina. One hand, plus two additions supplying missing text (ff. 1v and 26r-v; see collation, quires i and v).

Buchschmuck

  • 1- to 4-line brown initials (some rudimentary pen-decoration);
  • tituli in red or brown rustic capitals or uncials;
  • first lines in brown rustic capitals or uncials.

Incipit: (10r) [inc. mut.] // -ribus sed ex abel munera oblata placuerunt Explicit: hinc ergo in balaam exprobrationem dicitur, quia cadens apertos habet oculos (Num.24:16). Explicit liber beati paterii discipuli gregorii.
