Zusammenfassung

The theory of infinite tube magnetization reversal, formulated by Lee and Chang, is re-considered. For this purpose a standard micromagnetic simulation package OOMMF is used. To account for elongated geometry of ferromagnetic nanotubes, grown nowadays, we have written an extension module allowing application of periodic boundary conditions in one dimension. The results of our modeling show basic agreement with the theory. We describe the limitations of our approach and discuss checkpoints that are necessary in finite difference simulations performed for such structures.
